PAST EVENTS

Multiple Go Green-Holiday Action events delighted hundreds of participants with holiday-themed activities in promoting environmental stewardship . The exhibits promoted “reduce, reuse and recycle” with creative and practical demonstrations that inspired people to reflect on the environmental impacts of their daily actions and decisions, especially in the holiday season. The fun quizzes, hands-on activities, and a student-made App, EcoEye, engaged participants to practice recycling.

E-CYCLING

We Sense hosted e-cycling exhibits and workshops at Chapel Hill Public Library to raise community awareness about e-waste and what we can do with e-cycling. Our youth volunteers demonstrated creative ideas and ways to re-use, re-purpose and recycled old computers and hardware, including how to turn unwanted parts into mini-robots. STEM activities, such as coding lessons and hands on science, were included in the program. For more details, visit the E-CYCLING page.
