Entirely run by volunteers, WE SENSE strives to provide service-learning opportunities and a platform for individuals and groups to be connected, inspired and mobilized to contribute to our community in Chapel Hill and the Triangle area. At this unique gathering, we will delve into the benefits of at-home gardening and explore how it can positively impact families by growing their own vegetables right in their backyard. Imagine the satisfaction of harvesting fresh, pesticide-free produce for your loved ones, all while connecting with nature and promoting a sustainable lifestyle.

During our session, experienced volunteers will guide you through the ins and outs of outdoor plant care, sharing their expertise and invaluable tips for cultivating thriving gardens. You'll learn about the essential elements of soil preparation, watering techniques, pest management, and effective plant nutrition to ensure your green companions flourish in every season.

And the best part? Hundreds of sprouting plants are ready to give away, FREE. Whether you're just starting your garden or looking to expand your existing green haven, these plants are a fantastic addition to your collection.
